To prepare, mix 1 part powder with 2 parts water (by volume) and let it swell for 2–3 minutes. The mixture will initially be thin and then thicken; adjust the ratio as needed until the consistency is roughly that of ketchup. Offer 2–3 evenings per week, depending on feeding habits. Discard leftovers after 24 hours at the latest. Store in a cool, dry place; refrigerate mixed portions for 3–4 days.
