A. Cancellation Policy (EU)

Introduction

Consumers have a right of withdrawal under the following conditions. A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly not attributable to their commercial or independent professional activity.

Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party designated by you, who is not the carrier, took possession of the last goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (LucaTech3D GmbH, Heimbacher Dorfstraße 44, 74523 Schwäbisch Hall, Germany, Tel.: +4979195610189, E-mail: info@lucatech3d.com) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g., a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but it is not mandatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send the notification concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Consequences of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the additional costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which we receive notice of your withdrawal from this contract.

For this repayment, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no case will you be charged any fees as a result of this repayment. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

You must return or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which you notify us of the withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired.

You shall bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods if this loss in value is due to handling of the goods not necessary for checking the quality, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Exclusion or Premature Expiry of the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the supply of goods that are not prefabricated and for whose manufacture an individual choice or decision by the consumer is decisive or which are clearly tailored to the personal needs of the consumer.

General Notes

  1. Please avoid damaging or contaminating the goods. Please return the goods in the original packaging with all accessories and all packaging components. If necessary, use a protective outer packaging. If you no longer have the original packaging, please ensure adequate protection against transport damage with suitable packaging.
  2. Please do not return the goods to us freight collect.
  3. Please note that the above points 1 and 2 are not a prerequisite for the effective exercise of the right of withdrawal.

C. Return Policy (USA)

Introduction

These terms apply to consumers in the United States. There is no statutory right of withdrawal under federal law; instead, we offer the following return policy.

Right of Return

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund of the product price, subject to the conditions below.

Return Period

The return period is 30 days from the date on which you or a third party designated by you, who is not the carrier, takes possession of the goods.

How to Exercise Your Return Right

To initiate a return, email info@lucatech3d.com within 30 days of delivery with your order number and reason for return. After you receive confirmation, ship the item—clearly marked with your order number—to:

Consequences of Return

Once we receive and inspect the returned goods, we will reimburse you the product price within 14 business days using the same payment method you used for the original purchase, unless otherwise agreed. Shipping fees and any applicable restocking fee may be deducted from your refund.

Return Shipping Costs

Unless the return is due to our error (defective or incorrect item), return shipping costs are the buyer’s responsibility. We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance.

Liability for Diminished Value

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods if this loss is due to handling beyond what is necessary to inspect their quality, characteristics, and functioning.

Exclusions and Premature Expiry of Return Right

The return right does not apply to:

  • Customized or made-to-order items
  • Clearance or final-sale items

unless the goods are defective.
