Shipping policy

Shipping is carried out by DHL or Deutsche Post. All items offered are generally ready for dispatch within 3-6 business days (delivery time: 1-3 business days).
Shipping costs are clearly displayed in your cart and during checkout and start at €4.99.

We currently ship to Germany, Austria, the United Kingdom and the USA.

Germany: Orders from €79 are shipped free of charge. Below this value, we charge €4.99.

Austria: Orders from €259 are shipped free of charge. Below this value, we charge at least €14.99.

United Kingdom & USA: Shipping is available from a minimum order value of £135. We cover duties and taxes (PDDP). The exact shipping costs are displayed in your cart and at checkout.

Live animal shipping (insects)

Shipping days: Live animal shipping takes place only on Mondays & Tuesdays. No handover before public holidays in order to avoid storage times.

Temperature rules:

  • Below 0 °C (night-time low at the destination): No shipping. We hold the order and inform you as soon as safe shipping is possible.

  • 0-15 °C: Required: winter packaging (polystyrene box + heat pack) at an additional cost. Animals are not shipped without suitable additional packaging.

  • 25-30 °C: Summer packaging recommended (insulation, if necessary a cooling pack).

  • Above 30 °C: No shipping, or only after prior consultation (individual assessment).

Delivery & acceptance:

  • The shipment must be accepted in person on the day of delivery; no safe-place delivery and no parcel locker for live animal shipping.

  • Please open the parcel immediately and move the animals.

Shipping area notice: Live animal shipping is available exclusively within Germany.
