Digital thermo-hygrometer including BFC SYS holder – a compact LCD measuring device that allows you to reliably monitor temperature and humidity in your BioFaunaCube . You receive the device plus the matching 3D-printed holder, which is inserted directly into the posts – either at the front or back, directly behind the glass . This ensures everything sits neatly in the setup, and you can see at a glance whether the values are appropriate for your husbandry conditions .

Why this makes sense in the BioFaunaCube:
– Fixed place in the setup: no tipping over, no improvising with tape or suction cups
– Neatly integrated: sits directly on the post, stays out of the “working zone”.
– Flexible positioning: front or back – depending on where you want to read it
– Helps you to check climate zones (e.g., dry/humid area) instead of "by feel"

Assembly (30 seconds):
1) Click the thermo-hygrometer into the holder.
2) Select position (front/back).
3) Insert the holder into the post – done.

Yes – the BFC SYS holder is designed to be inserted directly into the posts of the BioFaunaCube. This ensures the device sits securely in the cube without any additional adhesive.

Where is the most sensible place to measure? +

For meaningful results: do not place the device directly in the spray stream, not on wet substrate, and not directly over a damp area. Depending on the animal species, it may be useful to test at the front and back to see differences in the setup.

Can I remove or replace the thermo-hygrometer later ?

Yes. You can remove the device from the holder and click it back in at any time – for example, to change the battery or if you want to move it to a different setup.
