SOILICO CocoEarth BRICK – Fine coconut brick for terrariums – compressed, finely structured coconut substrate in a space-saving brick form. The brick is ideal when a uniform, fine coconut substrate is to be prepared – clean to handle, easy to store, and flexible to use as a basic substrate for moist terrarium setups or as a base for your own mixes.

How SOILICO CocoEarth BRICK is used in everyday life:
– Fine, uniform base: ensures a calm and cleanly structured substrate appearance in the terrarium
– Useful for moist and tropical terrarium setups: suitable as a basic substrate with a uniform structure
– Usable as a base or mix: use purely or specifically supplement with structural materials
– Space-saving storage: compressed brick form, tidy in storage and practical for stocking
– Can be prepared with water: allow to swell, loosen, and then process according to the terrarium setup

Typical applications:
– As a base for tropical and moist terrariums when a fine aesthetic is desired
– In planted areas as a calm base under leaves, mosses, and structural material
– For larger terrarium setups, when substrate needs to be stored efficiently, cleanly, and space-savingly

Contents:
– 0.5 kg

Application:
Place the brick in a bucket or container and add water until it has fully expanded. Then loosen the material and incorporate it into the terrarium setup according to the desired moisture level. For clean processing, it is recommended to work in portions.

For a functional habitat, the material can be easily combined with suitable isopods, food & minerals for invertebrates and other accessories from furnishing, moss & cork.

What is SOILICO CocoEarth BRICK intended for?
SOILICO CocoEarth BRICK is intended for terrarium setups where a fine, uniform coconut substrate is needed – as a base for moist terrariums or as a foundation for your own mixes. The fine structure ensures a calm, cleanly structured overall appearance.
How is the coconut brick correctly prepared?
Place the brick in a sufficiently large container and add water until it has completely expanded. Then loosen the material and distribute it evenly. This creates a fine, cleanly workable substrate base.
How much does one brick yield?
The brick expands significantly. The exact yield depends on how much water is used and what moisture or consistency is desired in the result. This allows the material to be flexibly adapted to the respective terrarium setup.
Can SOILICO CocoEarth BRICK be combined with other substrates?
Yes. As a fine base, the substrate can be easily combined with structural materials such as coconut chips, leaves, or other components to specifically control the appearance and soil structure.
How should the brick be stored?
Store dry and clean. Due to its compressed form, the product remains very space-saving and tidy in storage. Expanded material should be prepared fresh as needed.
