BioFaunaCube © Stacking Bundle – The modular solution for space-saving terrarium keeping!

The BioFaunaCube Stacking Bundles combine flexibility, functionality, and efficiency. Available in sizes S, M, and L, they offer tailored solutions for different animal species – from ground-dwelling insects to climbing mantids and larger tarantulas. Thanks to the integrated stacking set, you can safely stack your Cubes on top of each other to optimize your space without compromising functionality.

Size Variants:

Size S (21.8 x 15.2 x 18 cm) – Possible fill height from the bottom: 4 cm
Perfect for isopods and other ground-dwelling insects. The large base area provides ample space, while the compact height is ideal for animals that do not require a tall habitat.

Size M (15.2 x 15.2 x 24.5 cm) – Possible fill height from the bottom: 4 cm
Designed for jumping spiders, mantids, and other species that prefer more height than floor space. The perfect balance of height and functionality makes this Cube the optimal choice for climbing animals.

Size L (20.2 x 20.2 x 28.5 cm) – Possible fill height from the bottom: 4 cm
Ideal for a variety of insects, including jumping spiders, tarantulas, and mantids. Both the floor area and the height offer the perfect habitat for animals that are active both on the ground and at height.

Easy to assemble and disassemble
The BioFaunaCube can be set up quickly and taken apart just as easily, making it especially space-saving. Empty terrariums that waste valuable space are a thing of the past.

360° ventilation with Drosophila protection
The sophisticated ventilation system ensures constant air circulation through all four posts. Warm air rises upward, creating a natural draft that continuously brings in fresh air. The ventilation openings are fine enough to keep Drosophila and other small feeder insects safely inside the Cube, preventing escape. The effective air circulation also helps avoid waterlogging.

Multiple unattractive insect containers that spoil your living space are a thing of the past. With the stylish and minimalist design of the BioFaunaCube, the terrarium fits into living areas and is aesthetically pleasing.

Integrated LED lighting*

Say goodbye to DIY solutions and unsightly cable clutter. The integrated LED lighting of the BioFaunaCube provides perfect illumination, emphasizing the natural colors of the animals and their environment. With a color temperature of 6500 K—equivalent to daylight white—the lighting supports the animals’ natural day-night rhythm and creates a pleasant setting. Depending on the model, it delivers approximately 145–185 lumens, a CRI of over 90, and consumes 1.3–1.6 W.

When the ambient temperature is around 22–23 °C, the LED generates higher temperatures only in its immediate vicinity. Directly at the lamp, temperatures of 29–31 °C can be reached, while just below it remains around 24–26 °C, and the temperature decreases further down. This localized heat development does not replace a heater: It is not sufficient to compensate for generally low room temperatures.

If consistently higher temperatures are required, we recommend using additional heat sources such as heating mats to ensure a stable base temperature.

Linkable
Thanks to magnetic cable connections, you can power up to three Cubes (sizes S and L) or four Cubes (size M) from a single power source – no more loose cables.

BioFaunaCube SYS
Thanks to the innovative terrarium posts, you can flexibly attach accessories such as loops, bowls, and climbing aids. The loops allow you to stretch cords to create additional climbing opportunities or attachments. The BioFaunaCube SYS offers a unique adaptability.

Secure drop-down door
The high-quality glass drop-down door provides maximum safety when opening and closing. Thanks to the included door stopper, you can control the movement precisely and fix the door in the desired position – ideal for comfortable and stress-free use.

Option for cable routing
The lid features a two-part screw connection, allowing you to easily route cables for additional equipment into the terrarium.

CritterLatch© compatibility
The lid of the BioFaunaCube has a mount for the CritterLatch© counterpart and other accessories, enabling you to customize your terrarium.

Practical feeding hatch
Without opening the entire terrarium, you can introduce feeder insects or spray water through the small hatch directly on the lid – convenient and time-saving.

Stackable and linkable
With our stacking parts, you can stack the BioFaunaCubes or link them with our connector set, allowing you to save even more space and expand your setup flexibly.

Attention: This bundle does not include a connection cable for the BioFaunaCubes. We are already working on a longer version of the current connection cable. With this new version, it will be possible to connect stacked Cubes. The cable will be available separately in our shop.

The BioFaunaCube and the stacking pieces are produced using a 3D printing process. We always strive to ensure high quality; however, small imperfections or irregularities may occur due to the printing process. These do not affect the functionality or stability of the product and do not constitute a defect. Each product is unique and reflects the influences of the material and process.

*A 5V USB power adapter is additionally required. You probably already have one; if not, you can easily purchase one in specialized stores or online. Please pay attention to the specifications: 5V USB and at least 5W or minimum 1A
