Small, lively beetles (approx. 2–4 mm) as varied live food for dwarf frogs, small geckos/anoles, juvenile lizards, and small aquarium fish. Easy to culture, high reproduction rate, and easy to handle.

- approx. 100 g black-eyed peas (breeding medium)
- Starter population: adult beetles + infested beans (eggs/larvae)
Care & Breeding
- Keep dry and draft-free; ideal 25–32 °C for rapid reproduction.
- Top up with dry black-eyed peas as needed.
- Bright to semi-shaded; avoid direct moisture and mold.
⚠️ CAUTION
Important: Keep escape-proof and store separately from pantry legumes (e.g., beans, lentils, peas).
