Application:
SOILICO ReptiLeaves JUNGLE is spread as the top layer on the substrate – either in specific spots or over a larger area, depending on the setup. In bioactive terrariums, the leaf layer can be replenished as needed once it has visibly decomposed.

What are SOILICO ReptiLeaves JUNGLE intended for?
They are intended as a layer of leaves for naturalistic terrariums: visually appealing, functional as an organic base for saprophages and microfauna , and useful for a more natural microclimate on the ground.
How are the leaves best used?
The easiest way is to spread it as a top layer on the substrate. Depending on the desired look, it can be applied over the entire area or only in specific zones, for example under decorations or roots.
Can ReptiLeaves be combined with other substrates?
Yes. ReptiLeaves work particularly well as a top layer on forest or tropical substrates. This creates a natural surface, while the main substrate underneath forms the actual soil base.
Do the leaves need to be moistened?
It depends on the setup. In more humid terrariums, the leaf litter absorbs the ambient humidity. In drier layouts, it can also be used dry – depending on the desired surface and husbandry method.
What is the best way to store the bag?
Store in a dry and clean place, and fully close the zip fastener after use. This keeps the material protected and allows for clean portioning.
