Natural Moss – Terrarium Moss for Humid Zones & Isopod Terrarium Setups

Natural Moss – Compact brick for terrariums, wet boxes, and isopod terrarium setups – 100% natural terrarium moss in a convenient brick shape. When soaked with approx. 1.5 liters of lukewarm water, the compact brick expands to about 4.5 liters of ready-to-use moss. Ideal for creating a targeted humid zone, a moist retreat, or a practical wet box in the terrarium.

Why many keepers use Natural Moss:
– Targeted moisture spot: useful for damp corners, retreats, and microclimate zones
– Practical for isopods: ideal as a moist corner in the terrarium setup, so the animals can retreat as needed
– Suitable for animals with higher humidity needs: e.g., in terrarium setups for frogs, salamanders, lizards, or snakes
– High yield: one brick produces approx. 4.5 liters of finished moss
– 100% natural: free of chemical additives and made from renewable resources
– Also usable for plants: suitable as a moist medium or supplementary base for terrarium plants and orchids

Typical applications (practical):
– Humid zone in an isopod terrarium setup, if an area needs to remain slightly damp permanently
– Wet box as a moist retreat, e.g., to support during shedding
– Egg-laying or more sheltered microclimate areas, depending on species and keeping conditions
– Moisture buffer under bark, moss cushions, or hardscape
– Plants: as a moist medium or admixture in the root area

Application:
1) Place the brick in a bucket.
2) Add at least 1.5 liters of lukewarm water.
3) Wait briefly until the moss is fully expanded, then fluff it up loosely.
4) Gently squeeze out the required amount and use in the terrarium setup.

Pro-Tip for Isopods: Use Natural Moss as a humidity island – one corner permanently slightly damp, the rest rather dry. This way, your isopods can orient themselves as needed without the entire terrarium setup becoming too wet.

Scope of delivery:
– 1× Natural Moss brick 100 g (compact, dry)

Notes:
Natural product – color and structure may vary. Store in a cool, dry place. Rinse briefly before first use. Not suitable for consumption.

For a functional keeping environment, the material can be combined well with suitable isopods, food & minerals for invertebrates, and other accessories from setup, moss & cork.
